Importance of usability
« on: November 18, 2011, 08:34:29 AM »

I have noticed a trend now, especially since the popularity of mobile apps, that the importance of a positive user experience is now just as important as the functionality!

Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks,

What it all comes down to, is if the people with money don't like your product, they won't give you their money for your product.  So, the 'entire package' is important.  This includes functionality, as well as reliability, usability, installability, maintainability, and to some degree enjoyability.

Ignore your customer's opinion at your own peril.

Interesting post!

In the past typos were considered to be minor, now in many cases they are major. If a user sees a typo in the UI, it immediately brings into question the quality of the software!
